​OUR MISSION:

The Crime Victim Center Young Professional Board (YPB) is a team of passionate and engaged folks who advocate for the Crime Victim Center’s mission of empowering victims of crime to move from crisis to resilience. The CVC YPB will serve as ambassadors and advocates within the St. Louis community. They assist the agency in amplifying the Crime Victim Center’s mission and being a voice for victims of crime.

OUR GOALS:

• Serve as an community ambassador for the agency by assisting with outreach and engagement events

• Build future supporters, stakeholders, and leaders for the Crime Victim Center and the larger St. Louis victim services space

• Raise funds through fundraisers, networking events, social events

• Bring energy and creativity that inspires and advises CVC non-profit leadership

Member Requirements

• Must be between the ages of 19-40 years old upon joining

• CVC YPB members are required to attend or participate in at least ¾ of scheduled meetings during the year

• Must attend/support at least one Crime Victim Center fundraiser annually

• Minimum one year commitment; Executive Board two years
